Welcome to our website! As we have the ability to list on our website (our selection changes all of the time), it is not feasible for a company our size to record and playback the descriptions on every item on our website. However, if you are an American with a disability we are here to help you. Please call our disability services phone line at 330-674-3806 during regular business hours and one of our kind and friendly personal shoppers will help you navigate through our website, help conduct advanced searches, help you choose the item you are looking for with the specifications you are seeking, read you the specifications of any item and consult with you about the products themselves. There is no charge for the help of this personal shopper for any American with a disability. Finally, your personal shopper will explain our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and help you place an order if you so desire.

Service and Maintenance: A Primer

At Millersburg Electric, we try to differentiate between the terms service and maintenance.

  • Service refers to work we have to do on your generator in the unlikely event that it somehow fails you. We call these "if" moments: if a part breaks, if the generator isn't functioning, if a tree falls on it. Service calls are rare with the terrific Generac product, but they do occur.
  • Maintenance refers to the preventative work we do on your generator to ensure that it never needs service - check-ins, tune-ups, and the like.

Our Maintenance Plans

Millersburg Electric offers you three options for maintenance on your Generac generator:

  • 1. You can opt to maintain the generator yourself. If this is the case, we sell complete maintenance kits, which include oil, air and oil filters, and spark plugs.
  • 2. You can ask Millersburg Electric to schedule an annual maintenance visit, during which we'll change the oil, filters, and spark plugs. At that time, we'll also clean the case and make sure that nothing is obstructing the air intake and exhaust. We'll check the voltage output, hertz, and battery voltage, and will finally simulate a power outage to make sure the generator is kicking in as expected.
  • 3. A third option involves all of the second, plus a six-month wellness check by a factory-trained Millersburg Electric Generac technician.

Thank you for calling to remind me about service for my generator; I knew it was close. Your man did a great job, and now I'm ready for the spring and summer storms!
